Foreign Mission
There is a great need for the Gospel to be proclaimed all over the world. While many evangelism projects are focused here in Western Australia, The Free Reformed Church of Byford is also active in foreign mission.
A collaborative effort among several like churches throughout Australia is currently being concentrated in maintaining a mission project in Lae, Papua New Guinea. The project involves two full time missionaries. The missionaries are culturally educated and thus are able to proclaim the Gospel in native languages. The ongoing work established in 1995 involves regular Sunday preaching, various weekday Bible study sessions. Much effort is needed to combat the evil stemmed from the high use of drugs and alcohol.
